Premier Energies AGM: 31st AGM on September 21, September 14 Set as Key Cut-off Date

JAIPUR : Solar energy company Premier Energies Limited has announced the date of its 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM). The company’s AGM will be held on September 21, 2026, at 11:30 AM through video conferencing. Along with the AGM notice, the company has also made its Annual Report for financial year 2025-26 available to shareholders.

The AGM will cover the proposals and other businesses listed in the notice issued by the company. Shareholders will also have the option to participate in the meeting and exercise their voting rights electronically. Premier Energies has appointed NSDL to provide the e-voting facility.

Why September 14 Is an Important Date

For Premier Energies shareholders, September 14, 2026 is an important date. The company has fixed this as the cut-off date for the AGM. Investors who are eligible shareholders as of this date will be entitled to vote on the resolutions placed before the meeting.

The remote e-voting facility will remain open from 9:00 AM on September 18 until 5:00 PM on September 20. This gives shareholders the opportunity to cast their votes before the AGM. A shareholder who has already voted through remote e-voting can still attend the AGM, but will not be allowed to vote again on the same resolution.

FY26 Annual Report Also Released

Premier Energies has made its FY26 Annual Report available along with the AGM notice. According to the company, shareholders whose email addresses are registered with the company, RTA or Depositories were sent the AGM notice and Annual Report link on August 29.

The AGM notice and Annual Report have also been made available on the company’s website as well as the websites of BSE, NSE and NSDL. Arrangements have also been made for shareholders whose email addresses are not registered to access the Annual Report.

Premier Energies Share Price: Stock Gains 1.39% on August 28

Shares of Premier Energies closed at ₹1,013.90 on August 28, 2026, compared with the previous trading session’s close of ₹1,000. The stock therefore gained around 1.39% during the session. It traded between a low of ₹973 and a high of ₹1,019 during the day.

The stock’s 52-week high stands at ₹1,134, while its 52-week low is ₹660. At the current price, the stock is around 10.6% below its 52-week high and about 53.6% above its 52-week low. Premier Energies has a market capitalisation of around ₹46,026 crore.

Looking at the one-year performance, the stock has delivered a return of around 2% as of August 28, 2026. A five-year return, however, is not available because Premier Energies was listed on the stock exchanges only in September 2024. As a result, there is not yet a meaningful five-year historical performance record.

Q1 FY27 Profit Rises 53%

To understand the stock’s performance, it is also important to look at the company’s latest financial results. Premier Energies reported total revenue of ₹2,507.6 crore in Q1 FY27, marking a 34.1% year-on-year increase from the same quarter last year.

EBITDA during the quarter stood at ₹759.4 crore, while the EBITDA margin was 30.3%. The biggest highlight was the growth in profit. The company reported Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹471.9 crore, representing a 53.3% year-on-year increase.

The growth was therefore not limited to revenue. Profitability also improved during the quarter. This will make the company’s ability to sustain revenue growth, margins and profit growth an important area to watch in the coming quarters.

Solar Manufacturing Is the Company’s Core Business

Premier Energies’ core business is the manufacturing of solar cells and solar modules. The company focuses on solar manufacturing within the renewable energy value chain and sees rising solar demand and India’s push towards domestic manufacturing as important growth opportunities.

For the company’s future growth, increasing manufacturing capacity and improving utilisation of existing capacity will remain important. Timely execution of orders will also be a key factor for sustaining earnings growth.

During Q1 FY27, the company produced 844 MW of solar cells and 953 MW of solar modules. It also produced 570 MVA of transformers. These numbers indicate that the company’s growth is not limited to order wins, but is also being supported by an increase in production scale.

What Matters More Than the AGM?

The announcement of an AGM, by itself, does not indicate any change in the company’s earnings outlook. It is primarily a scheduled corporate event where shareholders will vote on the resolutions listed in the AGM notice.

However, the AGM remains relevant for investors because management commentary can provide a better understanding of the company’s future strategy. Developments around capacity expansion, order execution and growth in the coming quarters will be areas to watch closely.

So far, the AGM information does not include any new earnings guidance or share-price target. Therefore, it would not be appropriate to draw a major conclusion about the stock based solely on the AGM announcement.

What Should Investors Watch Now?

For Premier Energies, three areas will be particularly important in the coming weeks and quarters. The first is the September 14 cut-off date and the September 18-20 remote e-voting window. The second is management commentary and the resolutions at the September 21 AGM. The third, and arguably the more important factor, will be the company’s revenue growth, margins, production capacity and order execution in the coming quarters.

The strong Q1 FY27 numbers provide a positive picture of the company’s operating performance. However, investors will also need to assess how sustainable this growth is as the company moves into subsequent quarters.

Aurelius Business View

Looking at Premier Energies only through the lens of the AGM announcement would not give investors the complete picture. The company delivered strong growth in both revenue and profit in Q1 FY27, while solar manufacturing volumes also remained substantial. On the other hand, the stock is still around 11% below its 52-week high and has delivered a return of roughly 2% over the past year.

This means the stock’s future direction is unlikely to be determined by the AGM alone. The market will be watching earnings growth, margins, capacity expansion and order execution more closely. The September 21 AGM, however, could provide an important opportunity to understand the management’s strategy going forward.

Key Dates: September 14, 2026 is the cut-off date; remote e-voting will run from September 18 to September 20; and the company’s 31st AGM will be held on September 21 at 11:30 AM.
